Seat Belt Buckling

Cade, aka Mr. Independent, always wants to buckle his own seat belt as of late. This morning we went out to the car, got in, and shut his door (by himself, of course). Christian was already in the car before I was in and he takes care of his own seat belt, so when I hear the click, I thought it was Cade's seat belt. I got to the light at 31 and Tracy Rd. when Cade suddenly yelled, "The cops are going to get on me, Mom! I can't get it buckled!" I looked in the mirror and his little face was in a panic. LOL When I laughed, he said, "They'll make me go to jail, Mom! They will!" He was so serious until I explained that they don't take people to jail for not wearing their seat belts.
